Goal Identify and predict execution order of nodes and structures in a LabVIEW VI.
Task-based Objectives
  • Identify order of execution of an existing VI
  • Select the appropriate control, indicator, data type, or function for given scenario
  • Explain use cases for looping and decision structures
  • Select the appropriate tunnel for passing data in and out of structures
  • Follow dataflow through statically called SubVIs
  • Explain basic array manipulation functions
  • Extract individual elements from a cluster
  • Identify custom controls and typedefs
  • Communicate across block diagram without wires
  • Recognize data type & array dimension on Diagram from terminals and wires
